Choose your board
A Christmas party board for adults and mixed-age family groups. Decorations and familiar treats open the game; story details, wordplay and seasonal calculations give different teammates a chance to help.
- This original board has five categories with five clues each, worth 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 points. Suggested values move from accessible recall to a more specific fact or a reasoning step.
- The questions and answers are free to read here. Quiz Champ is an independent game maker, not affiliated with or endorsed by the television show.
Make the Christmas round welcoming
Share the five categories before making teams: Decorations and treats, A Christmas Carol, Festive food, Seasonal wordplay, and Holiday arithmetic. These are suggested difficulty levels, not an age test. Read the story category name aloud so players know which version the answers use.
- For a 15-minute round, choose two clues per category and keep the others in reserve. For a fuller 25–35-minute game, use the entire board after setup.
- Mix people who enjoy stories, cooking and puzzles across teams. Offer the same one-time category swap to everyone before play if a subject is unfamiliar.
- Use your own timer and agree whether calculation clues get 30 seconds. The timing plan is a host suggestion, not an automatic article setting.
Decorations and treats
Start with recognizable objects. The later clues ask for a specific object rather than a color or a personal tradition.

Reveal answer
Candy cane

Reveal answer
A wreath
A garland is a long strand; the ring shape distinguishes a wreath.
-
300 points. These narrow, shiny decorative strips can be draped over a Christmas tree.
Reveal answer
Tinsel
Accept tinsel, rather than the separate string of lights.

- In Spoken Classic, a participant must buzz through Quiz Champ before answering aloud. In typed mode, the first buzzer submits the answer in the game. An external chat message does not register a response.
- After a registered response, reveal and judge. The current host dashboard adds the tile value for Correct and adds zero for Incorrect. Announce any manually tracked house rules before play.
