Quiz Champ host controls beside a Jeopardy-style category board

Choose your board

A food trivia board for dinner parties, staff socials and family game nights. No tasting, cooking equipment or knowledge of a particular restaurant chain is required.

  • This original board has five categories with five clues each, worth 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 points. Suggested values move from accessible recall to a more specific fact or a reasoning step.
  • The questions and answers are free to read here. Quiz Champ is an independent game maker, not affiliated with or endorsed by the television show.

Host the food quiz around conversation

Use Name the ingredient, Kitchen verbs, Baking words, Around the table, and Recipe math as your categories. The answers are about food knowledge, not anyone's diet or cooking ability.

  • Allow ten minutes before guests arrive to read the answer notes and check pronunciation. Entering the digital board takes additional preparation time.
  • For a short dinner break, use the 100- and 200-point clues in all five categories. Add the harder clues if the group wants another round.
  • Read the exact wording for recipe calculations, especially servings, grams and milliliters. Do not make dietary restrictions part of the scoring.
