Choose the board and prepare the private answer key
Copy one complete five-category board, or select a shorter round using the values below. Keep the answer key private while players use the shared display.
- Use Standard format: five categories with five clues each, worth 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 points. Copy the category, clue, accepted answer and explanation into the creator. The button does not import this article.
- Read every selected clue and check the intended answer before the event. Keep this answer page on the host screen and share only the player display.
- Let a team choose its captain, reader and note-taker. Rotate roles by agreement; invite optional discussion without adding hidden scoring rules.
Use Board A or Board B as a complete separate game
Board A favors everyday recall and practical vocabulary. Board B adds precise symbols, inference and calculation. Choose one board for a 25-clue session; the fifty-clue library is not one ten-category board.
- Copy the five Board A headings or the five Board B headings into Standard format. Remove the Board A/B prefix if you prefer shorter labels.
- Within each category the five clues run 100 to 500. A difficult familiar fact may be easier for your group, so review the values before hosting.
- A suggested first game uses all of Board A. A shorter game selects its 100, 200 and 300 clues: fifteen clues, with the rest retained as reserves.

Run the whole response and reveal loop
Create the board manually, save it and practice one clue with the actual devices before inviting the group.
- In a spoken-answer live room, the participant buzzes in through Quiz Champ, then answers aloud. In typed mode, the first buzzer submits a typed response before the host can reveal and judge it. Meeting chat does not register an in-game response.
- In the current host dashboard, a correct response adds the tile value and an incorrect response adds zero. Announce any manually adjusted house scoring separately. Do not change the rule after seeing an answer.
- For a shorter event, select the first two or three values from each category and keep unused clues as reserves. Any time window in this guide is kept by the host, not a claimed automatic countdown.
- Finish with shared winners or the numerical tie-break guide. That closest-answer comparison is run separately from normal Quiz Champ scoring.
